We are a consortium of professional independent consultants with in excess of 30 years’ experience in the development and cultural transformation of organisations across private sector including corporate, public sector and charitable sector.  At its core, this transformation and cultural change is about equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility 

The core purpose of EMBED is to offer a cost effective, cross-sector expert based model, that calls on sector or topic specific experts and partner organisations to help us to offer the most appropriate solution to our clients. 

EMBED offers an informed, structured and planned approach to implementing real cultural change. We know that one size does not fit all, and we take a user and business-led approach to ensuring that each piece of work we deliver is fully aligned to the needs and constraints of each client. With a talent for coaching and mentoring, Sarah is known for engaging and enabling an organisations greatest asset, its people, in being part of the journey of change, creating an environment of trust, respect and inclusion and in turn stimulating innovation, increasing retention and attracting talent to an organisation.

Martin York - Co-Founder

 Martin is an experienced leader in workplace inclusion and responsible business who created Majoyo Consulting to help clients to deliver significant and complex organisational changes in the workplace.  

Martin has provided coaching and consultation on legislative and regulatory requirements and introduced approaches to enhance employee engagement. Martin draws upon his experience in Business Analysis and Transformation to design and deliver positive organisational and cultural changes, including creating disability confident environments

Vanessa Hardy - Consultant

Working with multi-function marketing, product and communication teams and one-person marketeers, she has helped to develop brands, strategies, policies, products, services and campaigns that convey an authentic commitment to diversity and inclusion. Vanessa is proud to have worked for some of the UK's leading experts in developing disability confident business.

Seema Flower - Consultant

Seema is an engaging and passionate Disabilities & Visual Awareness expert with the ability to think strategically and act tactically across sectors. She is also Founder and Managing Director of Blind Ambition - a consultancy with a difference – to create inclusivity. 

Seema has provided consultancy to Government departments and across the health, charity, business and retail sectors. She is also media influencer and regularly speaks about strategies to help disabled entrepreneurs to succeed in business.

Ed Moss - Consultant


Ed is a Change Facilitator who set up his organisation Bridging the Gap, to bring together different people and experiences to improve the effectiveness of organisations. 

Ed's skill set combines project management, engagement and learning to bridge the gap between groups who wouldn't normally work together, facilitating communication in an approachable and solution focused way, ultimately helping your organisation to make a bigger social impact by transforming how you do business.

Becki Morris - Consultant

Becki an experienced museum professional specialising in intersectional inclusive practice in the service provision, working practice and workforce of the Heritage Sector. She is also Director at the Disability Collaborative Network C.I.C.

Becki has created working relationships across sectors and at all levels of the creative industries in relation to recruitment, retention, and development of inclusive practice. This has included practical, innovative thinking to connect for solution-based actions, develop strategy, raise awareness and confidence. Becki is a trained access auditor with a specialism with cross-profile neurodiversity.

Sharon Pegg - Consultant

Sharon Pegg is a senior Diversity and Inclusion practitioner who presents and consults internationally on how organisations can maximise their effectiveness. She is also Director at Northern Powerhouse Consulting.

Sharon has a wealth of experience of providing HR Business Partnering and working with senior leaders to achieve shared organisational objectives. Sharon's unique approach brings a truly holistic approach to enabling organsations to proactively identify and address strategic gaps in culture. This intervention also helps businesses to think about customers and how they can be more engaging, which in turn helps companies to grow effectively.

Sally Ward - Consultant

Sally is an independent Diversity and Inclusion consultant with in-depth knowledge of the wider benefits of embedding D&I into an organisation’s culture and a particular interest and expertise in employee networks and resource groups.

With strong stakeholder management skills, experience in delivering a variety of interventions and a focus on improving the lived experience of diverse groups of people, Sally looks beyond a company’s policies to make sure both the individual and the employer are supported.

Sarah Hanson - Consultant

Sarah’s career, as a senior leader, has enabled her to work with a range of organisations providing complex housing, care and support services for vulnerable people and also leading large scale cultural transformation programmes.

As a consultant, Sarah’s specialisms include: strategy development and implementation, governance and regulation, values and vision development, cultural transformation, change management and business turnaround.

HSG UK Ltd, specialises in washroom water conservation and recently gained The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.  The company has used its experience in the industry and passion for improving washroom standards to develop and launch 'Cleen '- the UK’s first fully integrated washroom facilities management tool.  

'Cleen' is the ‘Trip Advisor’ of washrooms – recognising that customers judge a business, particularly serving food, by the cleanliness of its washrooms and that many people have specific needs when visiting a venue, for example how accessible are the facilities for disabled people.
