Having a robust, clearly defined and up to date set of policies and procedures is the cornerstone for any organisation. Together they provide a roadmap for day-to-day operations. They ensure compliance with regulations and your obligations under the Equality Act 2010 as well as giving guidance for decision making and streamline internal processes. If a policy is well developed and clearly written, it helps communication with employees, clarifies expectations and makes sure everyone is treated in a consistent and fair way.
When your policies are underpinned by an authentic commitment to EDI, they will help position your organisation as a great place to work. EDI policies are wide ranging and can by either HR focussed or cover any other business area. We have extensive experience of reviewing different types of policies and processes including but not limited to:
During the review, we will analyse the inclusiveness and applicability of your policies and processes, the language and tone used, commitment to accessibility and support, their future proofing and how they support the lived experience of people who use them and for your service users. This will consider the needs of community members as you seek to engage and support them on their journey.
The workstream output will be delivered by a full finding’s spreadsheet, containing all findings, suggested action and suggested completion time frame. This will be delivered alongside a playback report which will pull out the top key priority areas that we recommend be completed as a matter of urgency, we will also identify any good practice and encourage you to replicate throughout your organisation.
Throughout the duration of the project we will engage regularly with your organisation to clarify the scope, objectives, outcomes and report on progress.
