Testimonials

Inclusive Communications and Accessible Programming

"National Museums Liverpool have been working with EMBED for two years, in which time they have audited our communications channels for inclusivity, delivered training and really helped us to transform our visual stories.  Crucially they have given us confidence to embrace new audiences, change our programming and to support us to ensure that we deliver memorable experiences for EVERYONE.

They have given team members confidence where perhaps once there was fear of doing the wrong thing which lead to inaction and have encouraged us to really listen to feedback and lived experience. As a result we are a much improved organisation which is really starting to see a difference in staff confidence around equality, diversity and inclusion."

Ann Chaplin, Marketing Officer, National Museums Liverpool

Coaching and Co-created EDI Development Programme

“Working with you has been a breath of fresh air! Your approach is tailored to our needs and your personable, yet professional style worked really well throughout the process from working with our staff members in focus groups, right through to delivery and follow-up.

You brought a wealth of information and insight and with each interaction you reassured us confidently of progress and feedback.  Our programme evaluation proved that your facilitation style worked well for the group, adapting your style where needed and also your ability to manage the tech throughout the virtual courses."

Senior HR Officer within Learning & Development, Local Authority

Coaching

“I just wanted to share a quick note to say thank you for all of your support. In particular, I want to thank you for your coaching and guidance in helping us to develop our inclusion and diversity strategy.

Having someone who could help us to take a step back, consider where we are, where we need to be and how we can get there has really helped us to structure our thinking – the 'Strategy on a Page' you helped us to define has meant that we are now organising ourselves around a common vision, mission and set of strategic goals - and we understand what success will look like... we are really excited about the journey ahead as we collaborate across the organisation to realise our vision.”

Employee Relations & Engagement Lead, Energy Sector

Employee Networks/Resource Groups

“Your approach to guiding and supporting our members has enabled them to think differently when it comes to creating lived experience based disabled employee networks, how they operate and how they can influence change across their organisations.

Your delivery of facilitating focus groups to tease our key learnings, ability to explore storytelling techniques, skill in defining strategy and power hour coaching sessions has enabled people to consider what they want others to think, feel and do be that through process, behaviour or collaboration.

With another incredibly busy 2020 nearly upon us, I’m looking forward to continuing to work with you and our members as we strive for recognition of disabled people around the world.”

CEO, Social Enterprise, London

Employee Networks/Resource Groups

"We recently engaged EMBED to create a behaviours and values framework as we work to make these an essential part of our business.  As well as creating the framework, they also held a series of focus groups with each of our staff to understand their lived experience of working with us and to understand where any pinch points were.

Their fresh, engaging and lively interaction with our people, alongside their evident knowledge of the subject matter, helped make these focus groups a fundamental part of this process.

Equally, the output from the groups was rich in detail and observation.  We are now reviewing the final report and the proposed next steps and look forward to the opportunity of working with EMBED in the future."

Business & People Lead, Social Enterprise, Bolton
